Philavore was conceived as a vehicle for me to write about food, but not just food. I wanted to write about being a consumer of "Philadelphia." About being a person who finds the idea of buying Chilean produce equally abhorrent to the idea of buying Scandinavian furniture. About promoting not just Philadelphia food, but Philadelphia crafts.
Along the way, I got sidetracked by corporations and limited liability and what not. I blame this guy. But you shouldn't.
I'll do my best to stay on topic but I've never been one to. And don't expect this blog to be updated on any regular basis.
One more thing, this blog is best viewed using the most recent version of Firefox on a device with the font "American Typewriter" installed. If you're not, then it most likely looks a little screwy. But then again what doesn't?
